Yes. For safety and insurance reasons, most carriers limit personal belongings inside the vehicle. Small, lightweight items may be allowed below the window line, but heavy or valuable items should be removed.
Carrier is not responsible for personal belongings inside vehicle.
Make sure the vehicle is clean to allow for proper vehicle inspection, remove personal belongings, disable alarms, ensure it has a quarter tank of fuel, and provide keys. A quick inspection will be done at pickup and delivery.
